Yes they are bulky and I had trouble finding a good spot on each side. The metal is thick enough if you drill it and tap it carefully it will work. I used a bit of thread locker when I screwed them in. I have pictures, but I am away from home at this time. The only problem was water getting into places where it should not. Like my turbo actuator on the passenger side..I will need to R&R the actuator soon, I guess the rubber is blown out of the actuator, because I can blow through the vacuum hose connection. And my boost controller and controller for the water injection also got water in them.
